A custom RSC box, or a regular slotted container, refers to the standard style of box construction in the packaging industry. The four flaps of an RSC style box all fold over one another, meet in the middle and are usually taped or stapled shut.
If your product requires additional protection where it meets the bottom of the box or on top, corrugated pads may be placed between the inside flaps of an RSC style box.

If you grant us your approval, all that’s left for us to do is schedule the job, manufacture and ship.
All flaps on an RSC corrugated box have the same length, and the two outer flaps, or lengthwise flaps, equate to one-half of the carton’s width. This way, the two outer flaps can meet at the center of the box when folded.

This depends on many factors, including the size of your products and how you want to pack them out. We offer the two most common types of box on our website box builder, the Regular Slotted Container (RSC) and the C-Series Mailer Box. The RSC is a standard shipping box, where the flaps meet in the middle and then are taped closed. The Mailer box doesn’t require taping, as it auto-locks closed.

Yes! We offer structural prototypes of the box. To get a prototype, you can either send us the dimensions of the box you want or you can send us a sample of your product and we can build a prototype to fit. To get a quick sample box sent to you, submit this form!
You can upload the file during the checkout process or you can send us the artwork after you’re done checking out. Once submitted, our design team will review the artwork you provided and will send you the dieline or communicate any changes/suggestions to make sure your boxes come out looking great.
